Disability Resource Center (DRC)

The DRC facilitates the delivery and referral of academically-related services for students with disabilities. Students who register and create a confidential file with the DRC can receive a wide spectrum of services based on their own individual needs.

Adaptive Technology Center (ATC)

This adaptive computer lab, for registered DRC students, trains students in the use of adaptive hardware and software.

Deaf and Hard of Hearing and Learning Disability Services

Services include note takers, readers and sign language interpreters.

Disabled Parking Permits

Make arrangements for disabled permits.

Learning Disability Services

An array of academically related services is provided on a case-by-case basis for students with a verified learning disability. Accommodations include, but are not limited to, test accommodations and note takers.

Registration Priority

If you need services and intend to register for courses, you should provide the DRC with verification of your disability as soon as possible after application to SJSU. It is important to make an appointment with the center for review of your specific needs prior to registration.

Test Accommodations

Make arrangements with the DRC for extended
time and other accommodations.
