The University has selected 12 students to serve as SJSU Salzburg Scholars in 2008-2009.  After attending a program on Global Citizenship at the Salzburg Global Seminar this summer, they will spend the academic year working with SJSU Salzburg Fellows on projects to help globalize the campus.

SJSU Salzburg Fellows (2008-2009)

The University has selected 11 faculty and administrators to serve as SJSU Salzburg Fellows in 2008-2009.  The Fellows will be led by Joan Merdinger (AVP for Faculty Affairs) and Karl Toepfer (Dean of Humanities & Arts) and attend ISP #27 from July 1-8, 2008.

  5. Laurie Morgan (Program Manager – SJSU Career Center)
  6. Karen O’Neill (Director – Studies in American Language)
  7. Lawrence Quill (Assistant Professor – Political Science)
  8. Rosalinda Quintanar (Professor – Elementary Education)
  9. Helen Stevens (Director – International Programs)
  10. Brad Stone (Professor & Chair – Chemistry)
  11. Karl Toepfer (Dean & Professor – Humanities & Arts)

The Fellows will spend the 2008-2009 academic year working on projects with SJSU Salzburg Scholars through the SJSU Salzburg Mentoring Program, coordinated by Bill Reckmeyer.
