SJSU is accepting applications from students who would like to become SJSU Salzburg Scholars in 2009 (due 11/10/7) and applications from faculty/administrators who would like to become SJSU Salzburg Fellows in 2009 (due 11/17/08). Those selected will attend a program on Global Citizenship at the Salzburg Global Seminar in summer 2009 and spend the following academic year working on projects to globalize the University.

SJSU Salzburg Fellows (2006-2007)

The University selected 12 faculty and administrators to serve as SJSU Salzburg Fellows in 2006-2007. The Fellows were led by Mark Novak (AVP for International & Extended Studies) and attended ISP #15 from July 26-August 2, 2006 with colleagues from 16 other institutions of higher education in the United States.  Highlights of the week included talks by Justice Richard Goldstone (Republic of South Africa Supreme Court) and Associate Justice Anthony Kennedy (US Supreme Court), as well as a jazz concert by Tom McDermott.
