Closure of Professional Development - 12/07
Please see the links below for letters addressed to Students and Faculty from Dr. Mark
Novak, Associate Vice President/Dean, International & Extended Studies
regarding the closure of Professional Development by December 31, 2007.
We will schedule all remaining programs from July to December to help students complete their certificates. We are also working with other campuses in the area to offer additional options for students if they are not able to complete their programs with us by December.
We will schedule all remaining programs from July to December to help students complete their certificates. We are also working with other campuses in the area to offer additional options for students if they are not able to complete their programs with us by December.
From July, classes will run on a reduced
schedule at the 2nd street facility - Tuesday and Thursday evenings and all day
Saturday. Students should make sure to register for their classes as soon as possible.
The summer/fall schedule will be available on the website in early June. If we
do not meet the minimum enrollments required to run a class, we will not be
rescheduling. As such, we strongly encourage students to register as soon as they
can to ensure the classes will run and to ensure students will be able to complete their program with us. Students will receive a separate letter from the PD
Director by the week of May 28th outlining next steps as we prepare for
closing the center and all programs.
