Event and Meeting Planning

The Event and Meeting Planning certificate program delivers a training program to meet the growing needs of the industry.  Our program is designed by professional event and meeting planners, some of whom are members of the Northern California Chapter of Meeting Professional International (NCCMPI). We have defined goals, developed curriculum and selected faculty to ensure a well-rounded training program.

Meetings and conventions represent a $122 billion* industry currently and it is continues to grow.  Career opportunities abound in corporations, associations and small group events for independent meeting planners or company employees who function as event planners.  Certificate graduates have accepted positions with corporations, convention and visitor bureaus and destination management companies when they completed the program.
